COMPLAINTS / CONCERNS / QUERIES ABOUT ENT CARE:
As a patient, you have a right to receive good medical care in line with the Patients’ Rights Charter of South Africa.
The South African Society of Otorhinolaryngology has in its Constitution the following principles:
OBJECTIVES:

The objectives of the Society shall be:

to serve as the overall representative body of otorhinolaryngologists in the Republic

to promote the practice and professional and allied interests of otorhinolaryngologists in the Republic:

to promote the practice of otorhinolaryngology in keeping with current best international practice

to act in the best interests of patients requiring otorhinolaryngology care
We further require the ENT Surgeons who are Members of the ENT Society to adhere to a Credo, which states inter alia that each member will “use my knowledge and skills to promote the health and well-being of my patients”.
